a Senior Managing Lawyer to join our multicultural team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for managing the daily operations of the business locally and across the world. Our

Key Responsibilities
As Senior Managing Lawyer at our Business law firm, your job duties include handling budgeting, scheduling, and hiring practices, as well as promoting relationships with clients and associates.
- Oversee law office operations including establishing the law firm structure, communicating and enforcing team values, and contributing to strategic business decisions to achieve our overall company goals.
- Implementing business development strategies and opportunities to grow our global presence and client portfolio.
- Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and develop Senior Lawyers, Lawyers, and support staff to strengthen our legal team.
- Managing all cases of the firm and ensuring the team meets operating procedures and compliance.
- Providing guidance on legal issues, applying independent judgment to legal issues, and managing negotiations.
- Ensure that the firm is achieving its client satisfaction goals by evaluating productivity and quality of service and making recommendations for improvement
- Build up the credibility of the law firm to the community by planning, organizing, and speaking at events such as webinars, media events, marketing initiatives, etc.
- Developing and mentoring a team of 12 legal professionals to achieve their full potential.

- Language mastery (spoken and written) in Arabic and/or French, and English. (A third or fourth language is a plus).
Essential requirements
1. Graduate degree in law (Algerian or International, or both).
2. Extensive knowledge and experience (15 years and more) in managing international cases in the following relevant disciplines:
- Corporate law.
- Industrial property protection.
- International Trade Transactions.
- Joint-ventures.
- Debt collection.
- Litigation.
- Mediation, arbitration.
- Forex and exchange control regulations.
- Public contracts/ Commercial contracts.
- EPC Contracts
- Banking regulations.
- Claims, Pre-litigation, and Dispute Resolution.
- Labor and Immigration law.
- Regulatory compliance and Due diligence.
3. Availability for travel in Algeria and abroad for missions, conferences, seminars,
presentations, etc.)
