Details:

Missions :
- Be responsible for the development of project sales from start to finish. This includes confirming scope, developing quotes and negotiating contract closure with the end customer.
- Be technical support within the group, there is a need to have/develop necessary technical and analytical skills. Customer engagement is key to drive profitable sales and develop and sustain strong business relationships.
- Be responsible of the management and growth of Air Products’ plant support and technical services business at existing customers (including Sonatrach, Helios).
- Generate new business opportunities through selective participation in commercial bids; sales of standard plants, across all technologies (PSA, VSA, PHG, Cryo, H2) to industrial customers in the area of responsibility.
- Travel will be required in order to meet customers on a regular basis. It is expected that up to 50% of working time will be out of the office.
- The Business Development Manager will be expected to deliver sales and profitability as indicated below:

Requirements :
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (typically Chemical or Mechanical).
- Fluency in French, Arabic and English mandatory.
- Good understanding of air separation plant technology.
- Account and Project Management experience.
- Effective customer relations skills and excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Good working knowledge of contractual and financial business requirements.
- An ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels within the company and with customers, across different national boundaries, cultures and time zones.
- Ability to handle multiple demands, driven by project as well as off-line commitments.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
