Job Description, Duties & Responsibilities
1- Candidates for this role MUST have a minimum 3 years experience providing implementation, design and technical support of networking products in LAN, WAN, or Internet services environments.
2- Candidates for this role MUST be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
Detailed technical experience in design and output High level and low level solution (HLD/LLD)
Detailed understanding of Ethernet Switching, the protocols surrounding IP service provider networks. These skills should include: Strong Knowledge about Routing Protocols, L2 Switching, Spanning Tree, VLAN and VLAN manipulation, TCP/IP fundamentals. IP subnetting and supernetting and hierarchical routing principles, Routing protocol operation (OSPF, ISIS and BGP), Routing policies at BGP peering points, e. VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, DHCP, VPLS, Routing Protocols , etc.)
Excellent Understanding of MPLS, MPLS Traffic Engineering, L3VPN, Mulitcast, Multicast over VPN, VPLS and L2VPNs.
A detailed understanding of Layer 1 and 2 protocols including SDH, SONET, ATM and Ethernet switching,
The ability to function in a team environment.
3- Routine maintenance of IP network equipment such as IP core/IP RAN router and switch.
4- Maintaining and Supporting of IP networks (test for degradation and breaks)
5- Providing technical support on transmission equipment and do preventive maintenance.
6- Compiling regular network performance and other reports as required internally and by the customer
Job Specification (Education, Experience, Skills & Others)
Education:
Bachelor in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Experiance:
1- To master the simple service configuration (with principle correspondence) on the router/switch as well as debugging.
2- To master upgrading and maintenance knowledge about several typical products.
3- To master using method of the data collection tool, inspection tool, upgrading tool, the long-distance measure tool.
4- To master the typical network management system installation method and the content and method of equipment monitoring content and method.
5- Must have skills to conduct network diagnostic tests and analyze the results using test equipment at and advanced level.
6- Experienced in resolving technical issues (hardware, software, and communications).
8- Ability to get root cause analysis in case of problems and output reports.
